DAVID LEMM Obituary

David Warren Lemm of New City, NY died at home on February 14, 2000. He was 58 years old. He was born on July 29, 1941 to Warren and Catherine Lemm in Nyack, NY. He was a graduate of Nyack High School and Westchester Community College. He was employed as a Field Engineer in the computer field until his retirement in 1996. Mr. Lemm was an avid amateur Radio Operator since he was 15 years old, operating under call letters N2DL, and received many awards both nationally and internationally. He had been a member of the Crystal Radio Club for over 30 years, and was also a member of North Jersey DX Association. Most recently Mr. Lemm was a docent at the Trailside Museum at Bear Mountain, New York. Mr. Lemm is survived by his wife Ada Christine; his daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Guy Vitti of Montvale, NJ; and son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Debra Lemm of Annandale, VA; and a granddaughter, Tabitha Nicole Vitti. He is also survived by his mother, Catherine Williamson Lemm of Whiting, NJ; and three sisters, Jean Jansen of Valley Cottage, NY, Ruth Adamowicz of Paramus, NJ, and Karen Pearson of Scottsdale, AZ. Calling hours are Wednesday, February 16, between 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Higgins Funeral Home, New City, NY. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 17 at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Germonds Cemetery, New City, NY. Donations may be made to Helen Hayes Day Hospital, Haverstraw, NY or United Hospice of Rockland, Pomona, NY. HIGGINS FUNERAL HOME 321 South Main St, New City (914) 634-6110
