DORIS CLANCY Obituary

Clancy, Doris M., age 68, a lifelong resident of Brewster, NY, died December 26, 2007 in Dover Plains, NY. Mrs. Clancy was born June 6, 1939 in Brewster, NY to George J. Sr. and Emma (Butler) Walsh. She attended Brewster High School. Mrs. Clancy married Roger A. Stabe Sr. on January 22, 1956. Mr. Stabe died on February 2, 1972. She then married Daniel P. Clancy on September 14, 1974 in Brewster. Mr. Clancy died on Jaunary 6, 2003. Mrs. Clancy assisted in running the Sunrise Nursery in Brewster, a family business. She enjoyed both travel and cooking. she was a friend to many but the love and care of her family always came first. Mrs. Clancy is survived by her 5 children; two daughters, Donna Grey of Amenia, NY and Sherry Aboueid and her husband Abrahem of Wingdale, NY, three sons; Dennis Stabe and his wife Barbara of Brewster, NY, Roger Stabe and his wife Fatima of Pawling, NY and Kenneth Stabe and his wife Naile of Patterson, NY. A brother George J. Walsh Jr. and his wife Joan of Brewster, NY and a sister Ann Prinz and her husband Phil of Brewster NY. Also 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and special friend Ronald Seifried in Florida. A funeral service will be held Monday, Decemeber 31, 2007 10:00AM at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY. Interment following at St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Brewster. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9PM.
