Gorbsky, Gertrude "Trudy"

Gertrude "Trudy" Gorbsky, 87, of Garnerville, NY passed away on February 6, 2016. She was born on September 8, 1928 in New Brunswick, Canada to Sam & Annie Gauvin. She married the love of her life Joseph Gorbsky in 1957 in St. Mary's Cathedral in Hartford, CT. Trudy was a Nurse's Aide at the Northern Riverview nursing home. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph (1995) and is survived by: Her loving children Clifford of Orangeburg, NY, Jeffrey, currently residing in China, Bonnie of Chapel Hill, NC, and Hank of Garnerville, NY; her grandchildren Kyle, Heather, Ryan, and Josef; and her sister Doria Martin of Canada, her niece Theresa, nephews Charles and Peter. There will be a Catholic Mass to honor Trudy's life on Thursday, February 11, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gertrude's memory to the Marian Shrine at 174 Filors Lane, Stony Point, NY 10980.

Bonnie, Cliff, Jeff, Hank and families ... sorry to hear she has passed. We've lost one of our world's "good people" more should be like she was. My memories bring a warm smile.
