HENRY CERBONE Obituary

Henry J. Cerbone Sr., 83, of White Plains, died on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at the Westchester Medical Center. He was a baker and owned Cerbone Bakery on Morris Ave. in the Bronx and Westchester Ave., in the Bronx and Cerbone's Rye Ridge Bakery in Ryebrook, NY for over 60 years until his retirement in 1996. He was born on August 17, 1921 to Marco and Pasqua Cerbone in the Bronx where he was raised and educated. He was predeceased by his sister, Lena and brothers Eugene, Mario and Ralph. On April 15, 1944, he married Italia (Dolly) Celli in St. Angela Merici Church in the Bronx. Mrs. Cerbone survives and lives in White Plains. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children Lana Fahey and her husband, Al, of Willington, CT, Henry J. Cerbone Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Yonkers, and Angela Salvato and her husband Dominick of North Salem. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Marc Santoro and his wife Cathy, Lisa Surdam and her husband Kurt, Jason Cerbone and his wife Beth Ann, Alana Fahey , A.T. Fahey, Matthew Cerbone, Alexa Salvato and Luke Salvato, and his five great-grandchildren, Natalia, Alec, Juliana, Dante and Gabriella. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday November 16th at 9:30 AM.
