John Brazee Obituary

John Francis Brazee

1958-2012 John Francis Brazee, 53 of Gale Drive, Lancaster Ky., passed away Tuesday August 28, 2012 at his residence.

He was born Sunday, December 14, 1958 in Pittsfield to Patricia Marie Sorrell of Dalton and the late Dighton M. Brazee.

He proudly served his country in the US Army. He enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and attended Lancaster Christen Church.

He is also preceded in death by a brother David E. Brazee and Patrick Clyde Brazee, and a grandchild Miracle Clark.

He is survived by his mother Patricia and his wife Aimie Marsee Brazee of Lancaster, Ky., a son John F. Brazee Jr. of Pittsburg, Pa., a daughter, Ashley Clark (Matt) of Richmond, Ky., two step daughters, Allissa Williams (Joe) of Rosedale, Ind., and Allie Patterson of Lancaster, Ky., brothers, Gary Brazee (Diane) of Pittsfield, Dighton Brazee III (Diana of Wyoming, Robert Brazee of South Carolina, Bruce Brazee (Cecilla) of Lancaster, Mark Brazee of Pittsfield, and sister Diane Hatch of South Carolina.

Services were held Friday August 31, 2012 at Ramsey Funeral Home with Pastor Allisa Santoro Williams officiating and burial following in Paint Lick Cemetery.

Pall Bearers were Gary, Mark, Dighton Brazee, Ron Stevens, Joe Williams and Matt Clark. Honorary Bearers were Randy Grubbs, Billy Broadus, Bruce Brazee, Jamie Kyle, Mark Preston, Ricky Preston, Gina Preston, Craig Morton, Billy Patrick, Gilbert Tudor and Linda Fieldman.

A twenty gun salute was held by the American Legion and the flag was given to his mother Patricia along with 3 bullet cases in honor of his service. Bag pipes and taps were played in his honor.

I knew John in the Army Co B 440th Sig Bn Darmstadt Germany he was my roommate and homeboy as I was from mass as well. We had a lot of fun together, he was a good guy. I was sad to hear this news. May he rest in peace.

We are so sorry to hear about John. He and the boy's were a part of our lives. John and Mark spent many hours at our house as they were growing up. we have great memories of good times.
