KEVIN C. DOYLE

Kevin C. Doyle, 40, born in Tucson, AZ, grew up in Rye, NY and moved to Wilmington, NC in 1995, died peacefully in his home on April 29, 2007. Kevin was a gentle spirit whom everyone loved. He collected life-long friends wherever he went. He was defined by his skill as a culinary artist, his love of music, reading, skiing, and spending time with his loving family. Kevin was known for his easy smile and friendly laugh. He is survived by his mother, Trish Doyle of Wilmington, NC; his father, David Doyle of Palm Springs, CA; his brothers: Major David Doyle Jr., MD, US Army; James M. Doyle, MD of Charlotte, NC; Matthew P. Doyle, Esq of Charlotte, NC; his sisters-in-law: Audrey Weaver Doyle and Erin Griffin Doyle; long-time friend, Ms. Macon Abbott; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, May 3, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 1011 Eastwood Rd., Wilmington. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, May 2, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412, phone 910-791-7055.
