Lisa Vasami Obituary
Haverstraw - Lisa J. Vasami passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Lisa was born on June 16, 1957 to Salvatore J. and Helen A. (Moliterno) Vasami. She was a graduate of the University of Texas and received a Masters Degree from Columbia University. She worked as a marketing research consultant. Lisa loved animals and spending time with her family. Lisa was predeceased by her father Salvatore. She is survived by her mother Helen Vasami; two brothers, Michael Vasami and wife Stacy and Richard Vasami and wife Laura; three nieces Alexandra, Samantha and Melissa; and nephew James. A memorial mass will be held at St. Catherine's Church in Pelham on Saturday, January 13 at 11:00 A.M.

I am so truly sorry for your loss. Lisa was my friend at Columbia University and as I later l moved to Italy we lost touch. I was wanting to be in touch with her a few times. Some of the things she said really inspired my life. I can only imagine your loss. she made the world a better place

My dear cousin Lisa, gone so soon. We shared a lot of laughter, confidences and love especially over the past 15 yrs of being 'email buddies'. Having you to share those experiences of my life with was a true blessing. There's a hole in my broken heart b/c you took a piece of it with you when you left us. Can't imagine what my life would've been w/o you in it. I pray that you have found the peace you so deserved. Love you always... Lori
