Mary Kear Obituary
Mary E. Kear of Highland Falls, N.Y. died Monday April 2, 2012 at Nyack Hospital. She was 66. Mary was born April 29, 1945 in the Bronx to the late John and Mabel (Hastie) Morrissey and grew up in Emerson, New Jersey. Mary worked at Lederle Labs in Pearl River, Plessey Corp in Montvale and Strober King in Congers.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 44 years George, sons Christopher and his wife Christine of New City, Brad and his wife Milica of Monroe and Keith of Nanuet. She is also survived by her grandchildren who she adored Emma, Jake, Daniella and Dylan. Mary is pre deceased by her brother Jack Morrisey.
Friends are invited to call Thursday from 2-4, 7-9 pm at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home GARNERVILLE. Mary's funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Warren Brandt officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Repose Cemetery. Mary was a sweet, gentle & feisty lady who will be greatly missed by anyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her tenacity in the face of her illness was truly inspirational, in fact, I never saw Mary frown or fall to self-pity! You fought your battle Mary and now the Lord has given you peace.
George, you and your beautiful family have our deepest sympathy, may your precious memories sustain you all through your grief. Rest in peace Mary.
