Peter Bellucci Obituary
Peter D. Bellucci, 51, passed away at his home in Pawling, NY on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. Born in Mt. Kisco, NY on February 28, 1962, the son of Joseph and Jill (Coe) Bellucci, Peter grew up in Mahopac where he was an alter boy and a graduate of Mahopac High School. He had a wrestling scholarship to Princeton, and moved to Pawling in 1988.
He is survived by his parents, Joe and Jill, of Pawling; four brothers, Joseph and his wife Jeannine and John and his wife Kathleen, all of Patterson, NY, and James and his wife Patricia and Michael and his wife Helena, all of Pawling; four sisters, Mary Jean Buckelew and her husband, Paul Perry, of Westchester, PA, Clare Glassberg and her husband, Lee, of Pawling, Jane Lawrence and her husband, Richard, of Newburgh, NY, and Ann Bellucci of Jupiter, FL; 29 nieces and nephews; one great-nephew, and two great-nieces. Peter is predeceased by his sister, Rosemarie Gambelli.
Friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY, Friday, November 1st from 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 1 PM at St. John's Church, Pawling, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter's memory may be made to ALS Research, Autism Research, Mental Illness organizations, T.L.C. I am truly saddened that Peter has left this world. I was so fond of Peter and my father was so fond of him as if he was his own, As all of the family. I do hope he was there to welcome him with open arms. I truly am sorry I could not be there to offer my prayers and love to your family. Mr. and Mrs Bellucci and Family,
I ran into Peter at Cousins Bakery last week and had a conversation with him while Mrs Bellucci was inside shopping. I am so glad that I was able to spend a few minutes with him. I left him thinking of the good times of our youth back in Mahopac. I will remember him for his easy smile and relaxed manner.I am sure that he will now finally rest easily.
