Peter Rende Obituary
Peter F. Rende, 81, passed away of November 4, 2012. The beloved husband of Barbara Rich. Cherished father of Peter, Thomas, Frank & Kristina and grandfather of 3 grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings Frank (Bea), Joseph (Louise), Robert (Karen) & Elaine Beaudrault and predeceased by his sisters Rosemary Philips & Betty Marcucilli. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and his very special godchildren Andrew & Vicky Dorazio. Peter was a proud Veteran of the US Military and a graduate of Fordham University. He served Port Chester as an accountant for over 60 years.
Visiting hours will be held at Gunipero Farenga Funeral Home on Thursday, November 8th from 5 - 9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 9th at 10AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Interment will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery.

To the Rende Family;
Please accept my sincere condolences for you loss. The Rende's and Mazzola's shared a lifetime of Happy occassions through out life and school, where we played football together. Pete was a great guy, always good for a laugh! I know he will get along with everyone in Heaven, as long as he doesn't try to do their "books".
I've had the pleasure in running in to Pete several times, when I came home from Georgia to visted my family and our extended family of friends over the years, and it was always a fun opportunity to talk with Pete as we reminicsed about the "Good Ole Days". He's probably joking with several of our other good friends right now.
May God Bless you all, and ease your sorrow. Know that he is with GOD and in peace.

Barbara I was shocked to say the least at the passing of pete. He was such a beautiful person and helpful in many ways with his clients. He will be sorely missed by all. Please keep God in your life and he will help you through this. he knew pete was getting tired and called him home. I know he will be watching you at all times, please believe that. my condolences to you and yours at this terrible time. but my mom died around this time and all I can say is he is having thanksgiving with God this year.
