Miele, Richard W.

Richard W. Miele, 87, of Ramsey, NJ passed away suddenly on April 6, 2013. He was born on March 15, 1926 in the Bronx, NY to Angelo & Alesia Ladaudio Miele. Richard served his country as a U.S. Marine during World War II. Richard received a Purple Heart from the Battle of Iwo Jima. Richard was an Interior Designer ASID. He loved boating, cars and building ship models. Richard is survived by his loving wife Maureen of Ramsey, NJ, his adoring children Patricia Miele Trail of Stony Point, Robert and his wife Linda Miele of Valley Cottage, Katherine Parker of Pomona and his cherished grandchildren Alesia, Angelica, Amanda Trail and Gina and Kristina Miele. Also his step children, Karen, Iain, & Graeme Belford and his step grandchildren, Kiera, Fiona and Ava.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 9th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Funeral Home. Religious services will be held on Wednesday, April 10th at 11 AM at the TJ McGowan's & Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY.
