THEODORE M. BECK

Theodore (Ted) M. Beck, MD, 69, of Garrison, formerly of Cortlandt Manor, died May 28, 2007. He was born January 19, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY to Sidney and Ada (Weinstein) Beck. He served as Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army. Dr. Beck graduated from the Univ. of Kentucky School of Medicine and worked for over 25 years as an OB/GYN in private practice in the Peekskill-Cortlandt Manor area. He was a former Chairman of the OB/GYN Department and Past President of the Medical Staff at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center. Ted is survived by his wife, Judith, son, David (Lorlene) Beck, daughters; Stacey (Michael) James and Nancy (Rick) Deakin and five grandchildren, Ryan, Molly and Evan James, Emma Deakin and Noelle Hanna. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at THE E.O. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, 313 North James St., Peekskill, NY, where funeral services will be held on Friday, June 1 at 11 am. Interment will follow at the Cold Spring Cemetery, Cold Spring, NY.
