Jack was instrumental in my future with Johns-Manville/Celite Corp. As a young girl fresh off the turnip truck (1979) from Indiana he saw something in me, enough to hire me (along with Ken Cowdrey and Bill Dillahey). I have many stories about Jack but I don't think this is long enough to share them all. Jack also believed in me enough to promote me to the first women (the only women)production scheduler at the plant . I am proud to have been a part of his career at the mine. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. My heart goes out to Irma and his family.

Jack always told me to write up something for a meeting, but keep it short; so, Jack here goes: We will remember you for your wit, friendship and fairness. We know you will be missed by many. Our love and prayers to your family.
