A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lompoc Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life at Beattie Park, for Richard and Phyllis Dimock of King City, formerly of Lompoc.
Richard was born on August 24, 1943 to Ikey and Norma Dimock. He graduated from Lompoc High School in 1962 and served in the United States Army. He was employed by Johns Manville for many years and retired from Fresh Express of Salinas, Ca. Richard passed away on February 25, 2024 six weeks after Phyllis' passing.
Phyllis was born on September 21, 1951 to Frank and Louise Luis. She graduated from Lompoc High School in 1969 and was a hairdresser in the Lompoc area. She passed away on January 9, 2024.
Phyllis and Richard enjoyed camping, going to concerts, and spending time with their family. They were married for 47 years and loved always being together.
They are survived by their children Rick of Lompoc and Bob and Amy of King City., their grandchildren Sydney, Haley, Sage, and Mekenzi. They are also survived by Richard's siblings Larry (Donna), sister Jennifer Santos (Harley) of Mission, Texas and sister-In-law Jeannie, of Bakersfield, Phyllis' sisters Barbara Kingsley and Polly LaLiberte (Mike) both of Lompoc, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who they loved dearly. They were preceded in death by their parents and Richard's brother Michael.
A huge hole has been left in our family, but we know that they are at peace and as in life together always.

Phyllis was my biggest fan and advocate when I was in the running for Varsity Cheerleader 68-69´. I owe the majority of my win to her. She plastered at least 25 posters all around campus promoting me. Resting in perfect Peace now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus

Phyllis and I were Lompoc High graduates together in 1969. My sincere condolences to her family and friends from the Lompoc days and beyond. May she rest in peace.

I attended school with Phyllis. I am so very sorry to learn of her passing. I was raised in Lompoc and left for college soon after graduation. I remember Phyllis fondly. Just a couple of girls growing up in Lompoc! Ihave fond memories of Phyllis while growing up. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.

Am so sorry for the loss of your family members..... If my folks, Jim & Dorothy Croker were still with us they'd have sent condolences as well. I'm sorry this is so late....I just heard of their passing.
