Sylvio Simard Obituary

Sylvio Joseph Simard
Sylvio Joseph Simard, age 77, passed away at his Lompoc home July 25th. He was an area resident since 1969 and was a native of Van Buren, Maine. He served in the US Air Force for 21 years.
Sylvio was a very kind and giving person and really enjoyed the simple things in life. He really enjoyed traveling while he was in the Air Force. He went to Spain, England- where he met and married his wife Moira and tours throughout the USA. He especially enjoyed teasing his older grandchildren Jason, Sarah and John. He is going to be terribly missed and always loved.
He is survived by his wife Moira of Lompoc; daughter  Sheila Ann Simard of Lompoc; sons Christopher Simard of Lompoc, Stephen Simard (Christy) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mark Simard (Anna) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Paul Simard (Lisa) of San Luis Obispo; his in-laws Honorh (Geoff) of Buellton, Joan Parker of Lompoc and Sheila Harmon of Arroyo Grande. He is also survived by his treasured buddy "Penny" and he also leaves behind many brothers and sisters, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, July 30th at St. Louis de Montfort Parish in Orcutt.
