Scott Bartlett Obituary

Scott Bartlett, 61 passed away on October 14, 2024 at his home in Ranson, WV. A long-time Northern Virginian, he was born October 28, 1962 to the late Thomas Bartlett, a Master Sergeant in the Marine Corps affectionately known as "Mr. Leatherneck" and mother Frances "Rossi" Bartlett. In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Bartlett.

He is survived by 6 children and 10 grandchildren who he loved deeply and prayed for every night. Children, Christopher Bartlett (Sarah), Michael Bartlett (Rae), Jennifer Newman (David), Alyssa Bartlett, Mikayla Morroni, and Jacob Morroni; grandchildren, Shawn, Mason, Jameson, Camryn, Alexis, Adeline, Elise, Harper, Macon, and Ruthie. Scott was married to Dimity "Richardson" Bartlett for 17 years and remained close friends until his passing.

Scott owned Bartlett Handyman Services and believed that nothing was too broken to be fixed. He was a rule breaker and a risk-taker, had a great sense of humor, was sincerely patriotic, and was so proud of his "6FNKIDS." He loved sports and music and he'd want you to know "it's been a good ride."

A (loud) celebration of Scott's legacy will be hosted by his family and the details will be shared privately. Scott Michael Bartlett
