I remember with great pleasure babysitting for the darling Makk boys and being around their wonderful parents. We lived down the street on Seneca Valley Road. He is in a better place, at his best and with those who welcome and love him. Having lost a son in the last year, that fact is the hardest to reconcile; we miss them so much. We are sad for you and share in your grief. Time helps and the love and closeness of friends and family. Claire Ellen Cowley, MD

While we did not know Dr. Andrew Makk, if he was anything like his brother, Steve, whom we do know, there exists a great loss to all who knew him. From two Tulanians to the Makk family, our condolences for your loss.

Strong, courageous, intelligent, hopeful, caring...we had only met Andrew through the eyes of his brother, Dr. Lazlo Makk over the past many months, but he made a lasting impression!
Andrew was a true profile in courage and an inspiration to the staff at Baptist East Endoscopy.
Prayers and blessings to the entire family during this time of sadness and remembrance.
