David Fisher Obituary
Clarksville - 62, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018. David was very involved in his community of Clarksville where he proudly served on the Clarksville Town Council. He was a member the Knights of Columbus Council 1348 in Jeffersonville and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church where he enjoyed serving in the Men's Club. David was involved in his family owned business, Conner Manufacturing, for over 40 years until it's closing in 2003.
David was born on April 26, 1956 in New Albany, Indiana to the late William H. Sr. & Carolyn A. (Stillman) Fisher. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Billy H. Fisher Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Lu (Spitznagel) Fisher; daughters, Amy Brown (Jason), Jessica Wethington (Brian) and Erin Holdaway (Brian); sister, Becky Baldwin; brother, Bob A. Fisher (Myra); step-mother, Teresa Fisher; grandchildren, Hunter & Hayley Wethington and Keegan Brown.
Visitation will be from 12 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). His Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (316 N Sherwood Ave, Clarksville, IN) with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David's memory can be made to Hosparus of Southern IN (502 Hausfeldt Ln, New Albany, IN 47150) or the James Graham Brown Cancer Center for Gastrointestinal Cancer Research (529 S Jackson St, Louisville, KY 40202).To leave a special message for the family, please visit www.NewcomerKentuckiana.com.

To the Fisher Family, i was so sorry to hear about Butch passing. He sure was a good guy. So many laughs while I worked at Gettler Sheet Metal. Always had a great sense of humor, kind and generous.
