Not sure what to say?

Jo Ann was a wonderful person in every way. She was our neighbor for years and I used to love the stories my Mom and her used to tell each other over a cup or two of strong coffee as Mom always made it and the laughter!
She was good for my Mom and I think the same is to be said for Jo Ann. Best friends.
Jo Ann sang at my wedding and her voice was so angelic it almost made you cry.
I can say that almost all of the Ashcraft family enjoyed her being a part of our family for so many years. I only have the fondest memories and the laughter she and my Mom had together.

To Jim and family,
Please accept our prayers and sincere sympathy in the time of grief. Joann was an old school buddy of ours at St. Cecilia, a neighborhood friend (we lived on 26th street - the Dants on 27th) her husband Jim came to our house with his friend (our cousin) Bob Recktenwald, and I visited the Spaldings with Jim's cousin Gladys Mattingly a very close friend of mine. How our lives passed from early childhood through the young adult years . Memories are so beautiful.

May God hold Joann in His arms and grant her peace.

Most sincerely,

Mary Angela LINK White
and my sisters Mary Martha LINK Burch
and Mary Theresa LINK Hettich.

Seems I have know her most of my life and I feel very blessed. We are very sad that she has moved on to heaven to sing with the angels but I know she will be watching over all the Spalding family and friends as she did when she was here among us.
