Michael Krupp Obituary

KRUPP, MICHAEL LOUIS, 50, died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East.

Mike was a 1982 graduate of University of Kentucky, having received his Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture, where he was also a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.

He loved his work and he loved to play. He loved his friends and his alma mater, U of K. He loved his dear Joanie and he loved life! Whatever Mike Krupp did he did with great passion.

He was preceded in death by his father, Shirl Louis Krupp.

Mike is survived by his wife, Joanie Krupp; his daughter, Meredith Krupp; his mother, Marie Krupp; his stepchildren, Hunter, Tyler and Courtenay Graham, Aaron Hilberg; and a myriad of friends and extended family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Ascension, 4600 Lynnbrook Dr., with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Ln.

I was just thinking of Mike several days ago. I learned of his passing through Mark King, Tampa, FL. We were all big buddies during the 1980's. We enjoyed hunting, fishing and sailing together. Mike was a great guy and always a pleasure to be with either buisness or pleasure. My prayers shall be with him and his family always

I am so sad to hear of Mike's untimely passing. It seems like yesterday we were crawling through a huge snow tunnel Mike and Alan built in your yard. Prayers and love to all.

Mike was my best friend during our 7th thru 10th grade years...even after going to different schools/colleges, we remained great friends. We had so many good times growing up together...I thought he was the coolest guy ever. I was shocked when my Mom called me here in Phoenix to tell me of his passing. Marie, Allan and family, I wish I could be there...my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. I will truly miss him.
