My family ate at Tommy Lancaster's for years. Mike was always friendly, gracious and was obviously well liked by both his customers and staff. Later, when I became an adult, Mike always talked with me when I came in and spent valuable time engaging with his guests. He passed on his enthusiam to everyone with his infectious smile.

Terry, I was so sorry to read of Mike's passing. I didn't know him as well as I did you, but he was always friendly and smiling. My father was always spoke very fondly of him and Connie. This brings back a lot of memories, as the Lancaster boys were sort of an institution at Holy Family. Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you.

Dear Eva, Pat & Terry,
I have so many fond childhood memories of all of you, your Mother & Dad. But what always stands out in my memories is Mike's smile. I can still see that wonderful photo of the 3 boys on your parents' wall. I am so sorry I missed the reunion last year & a chance to meet Mike once again. Now I'm in the midst of moving my 91-year old Dad into assisted living here from Florida & Chuck & I are flying to Florida in a few days. So once again, forgive me for not being with you. But do know that I am in spirit. My deepest sympathy & wishes for peace & comfort at this difficult time.
Love from your cousin, Carol Scott Kappel
