Rosemary Barnes Obituary

Barnes, Rosemary C. Witherspoon,

73, died at home, suddenly in her sleep on September 21, 2015.

Born in Louisville, she was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Mary Witherspoon.

She is survived by her children, W. Daniel Barnes (Amie) and Cheryl Phillips (Mike); her grandchildren, Michael and Kelly Phillips, Davis, Eliza and Molly Barnes and Nicki Phillips Carney (Bobby); her great-grandchildren, Koen Phillips and Liam and Max Carney; brothers, Frank and Thomas Witherspoon; aunt, Mabelgene Lenfers; and uncle, David Witherspoon.

A celebration of Rosie's life will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Highland Park First Baptist Church, 7321 Billtown Road. Visitation will be at the church 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015. Arrangements: The Neptune Society
