William Murphy Obituary
Mr. Murphy was born April 19, 1948 in Fairdale, KY to the late Owen and Naomi Cape Murphy. He formerly worked for L & N Railroad, was an alarm security tech for Alarm-1 Protective Service and was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents; brother, Leon Murphy and sister, Joann Baxter.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Inez Murphy; children, Laura Murphy, Angela Fulton, Brian Murphy (Kim) and James Fulton; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Ramsey; brothers, Ronald and Ricky Murphy; sisters, Wanda Murphy, Geraldine Hill, Joyce Cook and Betty Freeman and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1-8 p.m., Monday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Schoppenhorst. Honorary pallbearers: Ricky Murphy, James Fulton, Brian Murphy and Charlie Shufett. Pallbearers: Ronald Murphy, Michael Murphy, Matthew Braund, Carl Cook, Ricky Stump and Darrell Baker.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Lymphoma Cancer Association.

Murphy Family,
I only knew Bill through Alarm 1 doing work at our home and at our business and was saddened to hear of his passing. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the road of grief. Keep his memory alive and talk of him often.
