William Roberts Obituary
Louisville - William Edward "Bill" Roberts, Jr. of Louisville, age 60, passed away peacefully Saturday February 6, 2021 after an illness.
Born July 5, 1960, Bill was a 1978 graduate of Louisville St. Xavier High School. He went on to successful careers as an electrician and in lawn care, eventually establishing his own lawn care company. He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Butchertown.
Bill was generous, hard-working, friendly and devoted. He had many hobbies - fishing, horseracing, boating on Nolin Lake, UofL sports, good cigars - enjoying all with his many friends and family. But what mattered most to Bill was spending time with his beloved daughters Whitney and Brooke whom he loved more than anything in the world and who in turn thought he hung the moon.
Bill is survived by his mother Lois (Palmer) Roberts, daughter Whitney Roberts and her fiancé Jerrett Link, daughter Brooke Roberts, sister Julie (Wayne) Rose, niece Emily (Arin) Aragona and her children Charlie, William and Addie Aragona, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Eddie Roberts and brother Mark Roberts.
Visitation will take place from 8:00am to 10:00am Thursday, February 11th with a mass of Christian burial (family and closest friends only) immediately following at 10:00am. Both will take place at St Joseph Catholic Church, 1406 E. Washington St., Louisville KY. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bill's name.

We were so s saddened to hear of the passing of Whitney and Brooks daddy. We still remember meeting him when we all rallied behind out daughters at some of the many functions our girls shared in common as they grew up together. It was obvious how much he adored his girls. Dear sweet Whitney and Brooke our prayers and thoughts are with you today and in the future. We are here if you ever need anything please call. We will also be praying for the entire extended family and have each and every one in our deepest thoughts and prayer. Love to all of you!
