Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather

TYNGSBOROUGH -- Albert J. "Al" Bisson, Sr., age 79, a Tyngsborough resident passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Lowell General Hospital, main campus surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of Dolores M. (Fournier) Bisson with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Albert was born in Methuen, MA. on January 19, 1938 a son of the late Albert E. and Charlotte (Castle) Bisson. He was also the step son of the late Ruth (Page) Bisson. He received his early education in the Methuen schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.

Prior to his retirement Al had been employed by Market Basket Supermarkets for over 15 years, most recently working in the Methuen store.

He was a member of the St. Mary Magdalen Parish of Tyngsborough, MA.

Al was a former member of the Tyngsborough Sportsmans Club, an avid hunter and a former member of the NRA. He had also been a member of the Centurians Motorcycle Club of Pelham, NH and in the late 70's Al had been a coach for the Babe Ruth Baseball League in Tyngsborough.

In addition to his loving wife Dolores he is survived by his four children: James A. Bisson and his wife Judith of Sandown, NH, Jacqueline A. Wadding and her husband Jeffery of Townsend, MA., Sharon M. Marinelli and her husband Louis of Babson Park, FL. and Albert J. "AJ" Bisson, Jr. of Tyngsborough, MA. Six grandchildren: Gregory Bisson, Jessica Lavery Pozerski, Stephanie Lavery, Edward Lavery Jr., Retired Army Sgt. Scott Denommee and Jeffery Wadding. Three great-grandchildren: Cameron Pozerski, Desmond Pozerski and Trever Denommee. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family member Lilan Hamade.

BISSON -- At Albert's request visiting hours have been omitted, cremation Linwood Crematory, Haverhill, MA.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Albert's Memorial Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 10 o'clock at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 95 Lakeview Ave., Tyngsborough, MA.
