Brian McGrady Obituary
Brian P. McGrady, 61, of Lunenburg, MA went home to his Lord on Sunday, May 16, 2021, passing at home with his loving family by his side.
Brian was born in Berwick, PA, a son of the late Edward P and Rosemary (Turk) McGrady.
Brian attended St. Mary's Parochial School in Berwick and Central Columbia High School graduating in 1978. Following high school, he attended Bloomsburg State College and began a 25-year career in retail management – retiring in 2010 due to poor health.
In 1987 Brian and his beloved wife of more than 37 years, Regina (Bafunno), moved to Groton, Massachusetts where they raised their two sons. They moved to Lunenburg, MA in 2018.
Besides his wife, Brian is survived by two sons Brian and Brandon, a sister Rosemary (John) Kovach, a brother Edward L McGrady and many nieces and nephews.
Brian was an avid New England sports fan and a big Penn State football supporter.
He loved music and was a true stereophile, always in search of the best music components to fill his home with the songs of his life. For all who knew and loved Brian, he will be greatly missed.
You are invited to attend visiting hours in the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home. 763 Massachusetts Ave, Lunenburg, on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10-11 AM. A Celebration of Brian's Life with prayer service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.

Regina, Brian and Brandon,
I’m so sorry for your loss. It quite sucks, really. I hope in time that you all are able to cultivate peace with Brian’s passing. I wish I had the chance to experience more of his love of music.
Grief can be an unruly rollercoaster of emotions especially when coupled with all of the “what if’s” as well as the fact that you are then expected to put one foot in front of the other and face each new day head on. That’s not always an easy task and no one is perfect. Life does go on, but it doesn’t always make the pain of loss any easier to bear. I hope you all continue to be surrounded by people who will support and uplift you when times are particularly difficult to fathom, as well as to share in your hopes, dreams and life successes. I hope that you maintain your strong bond between the three of you as you all navigate this time of grief.
Just know that you are all loved and appreciated.
