David Donovan Obituary
of Dracut, MA; 27
DRACUT, MA - David F. Donovan, 27, died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved son of Katherine (Keefe) Donovan and David Donovan.
David was born in Lowell, MA on March 15, 1991. He was educated in Dracut and was a 2009 graduate of Greater Lowell Technical High School.
He worked as an electrician for the family business. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his brother Jacob Donovan and his partner Emily Greenwood of Dracut; his sister Rachel Donovan of Dracut; his paternal grandmother, Mary (Craib) Donnelly of Lowell; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Winifred (Mosscrop) Keefe of York Beach, ME; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is predeceased by an infant brother, Keefe Donovan.
DONOVAN - Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, MA. His family may arrive as early as 4PM. His funeral will be held from the funeral home at 9AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Tyngsboro, on Saturday, April 28th at 10A.M. I have fond memories of my nephew David and his brother Jacob, some time ago, trying to push Uncle Michael off a small rickety raft in the middle of Long Pond in Barrington, NH. Lots of swimming, fishing, Pontoon boating with your Mom and Dad, dogs running all over the area, excited about being in the wilderness, enjoying camping, critters creeping in the night, campfires, blueberry pancakes fresh off the bushes grown there. I think Rachel was 4 years old at that time. Much laughter, some singing, yes your Mom would belt out a song every now and then.
Iv'e always enjoyed your company. I will miss you very much. God bless you and your new journey. God bless your Mom and your Dad and our entire family.
