DRACUT, MA -- Doris M. (Davis) (Emery) Ledoux, 89, of Dracut, MA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at a local nursing home.

She was born in Derry, NH, March 8, 1926, the daughter of Ray Davis Sr. and Carrie (Coffin) Davis. She was raised in Derry and attended Derry public schools. She was a resident of Derry for many years, where she worked at the local A&P Store as a meat wrapper, as well as a waitress at Mabel's Restaurant.

She loved all animals and especially her current cat "Mr. Tiggs". She enjoyed yard sales. She was a past member of the Mizpah Rebekah Lodge in Derry. She also enjoyed following NASCAR on TV, and enjoyed being a spectator at Hudson Speedway. She loved to chat and spend time with her family.

In 1968, she moved to Dracut, MA where she spent the remainder of her life.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul G. Ledoux, who passed away in 2008. She was married to Paul for 38 years.

The family includes her son, Steven D. Emery, and wife, Kathy, of Manchester, NH; her daughter, Susan (Emery) Houle, and husband, Roger, of Bow, NH; her son, Michael Ledoux, of Dracut, MA; two step-daughters, Diane Dias of Tyngsboro, MA, and Carol Paquette and husband, Skip, of Kissimmee, FL. She was predeceased by her brother, Ray Davis Jr. She leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a niece, a nephew; and a lifelong friend, Hope Chambers of Port Charlotte, FL.

LEDOUX -- At "Ma's" request there will be no calling hours and services will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to an animal charity of your choice.
