BILLERICA -- Francis D. O'Keefe, age 72, of Billerica, beloved husband of Lorraine (McCarthy) O'Keefe, died Monday, at home.

He was born in Cambridge, November 22, 1937 the son of the late Timothy and Agnes (Mahoney) O'Keefe.

He grew up in Littleton, and has resided in Billerica for the past 39 years.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Mr. O'Keefe was employed for many years at Brookstone Company as the Vice President of Operations.

Besides his wife, Mr. O'Keefe is survived by his son, Christopher O'Keefe and his wife, Elisa (Mis) of Hanson; his daughter, Kathleen O'Keefe Rizza and her husband, Thomas of Alexandria, VA; his most favorite little girl, his granddaughter Ashleigh Rose O'Keefe; his brothers, John O'Keefe of Concord and Robert O'Keefe and his wife, Susan of Westborough; his sister, Mary Ellen Sayles and her husband, Bill of Lovell, Maine; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Eileen Beals, Richard and Carol McCarthy, George and Maureen McCarthy, Linda McCarthy and Susan DeLeo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Timothy and Joseph O'Keefe, Aileen Iverson and Jane Sym and brother-in-law of the late Joanne (McCarthy) O'Keefe and Larry DeLeo.

O'KEEFE -- Of Billerica, Aug. 2, Francis D. O'Keefe. Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa's Church at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lahey Clinic Sophia Gordon Cancer Center c/o Philanthropy, 41 Mall Rd., Burlington, MA 01805. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
