Francis P. "Frank" Reilly

Francis "Frank" P. Reilly, 84, a resident of Pelham, NH, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. He was the beloved husband of Ellen L. (Lescard) Reilly with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.

He was born in Lowell on February 6, 1937, son of the late Francis James and Alice (Sheehan) Reilly. Frank grew up in the Acre of Lowell and was often found with his friends at "Charlie's Corner" and graduated Lowell High School with the Class of 1955.

Frank lost his first wife, Maureen to cancer when she was just 31 years old. He later met Ellen, each having 2 children their families blended and then expanded with the arrival of their daughter Kimberly.

Frank served 6 years in The National Guard. He then worked for the Lowell Courier-Citizen and Benchmark Electronics for many years before retiring in 2014.

Spending time with family was most important to Frank, his home was always the most popular hangout. During the winter, the entire neighborhood would gather on their snowmobiles before hitting the trails. He cherished his annual summer vacation at Hampton Beach, and he absolutely adored his grandchildren. He will forever be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor and his appreciation of automobiles.

In addition to his loving wife, Frank leaves behind his children; Kelly (Reilly) Genoter and her partner, Mark Vayens of Raymond, Kevin Reilly and his wife Lynne of Pelham, Kimberly (Reilly) Murphy and her husband Greg of Hudson, 2 step-daughters; Cheryl (Spinney) Gettings and her husband Kevin of Pelham, and Coleen (Spinney) Spaulding of Pelham, his grandchildren, Meghan and Corey Reilly, Brian and Alyssa Gettings, Brayden and Austin Murphy, a sister Andrea Reilly and her daughter Bridget of North Chelmsford, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Maureen (Manning) Reilly, sister, Marylou Reilly, niece, Angela Reilly and grandson, Kyle Spaulding.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 4pm to 7pm at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Funeral home service will be celebrated on Friday, August 27th at 10:00am at Dracut Funeral Home. Interment immediately following at Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, NH.
