of Auburn, NH; guitarist; 59
AUBURN, NH -- George L. Gamache, 59, of Auburn, NH, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 14, 1953 in Lowell, MA, a son of the late George C. and Claire (Frechette) Gamache.
George loved music which led to his playing in several local bands as a lead guitarist. He loved to cook. He also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
Mr. Gamache had a fondness for animals, especially dogs and cats.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Johanna F. Gamache; one son, Ian J. Gamache; two brothers, Normand L. Gamache and his wife, Sue, and Michael L. Gamache and his wife, Maryetta, two sisters, MaryAnn Foote and her husband, David, Priscille Ladebauche and her husband, Joe; several nieces and nephews.
GAMACHE -- There are no calling hours. A private celebration of George's life will be held at a later date by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH is assisting the family with arrangements. To send a condolence or for more information, please visit www.peabodyfuneralhome.com.

Today is your 1 Year Angelversary. In your memory and honor, I offered up my mass and communion, lit a candle and had some Grand Marnier cordial for you. You are always loved and missed by your family and friends. Your were a great person who had a kind-hearted personality. George,you left us one week ago today. Life continues and our daily routine keeps us going, until we have a quiet moment and stop and realize that you are really gone!! The reality of this touches all of us real deep down inside our souls.Acceptance is very hard to swallow. Your friends and family are here to help Johanna and Ian and will always be there for them. but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
