Helen Tamilio Obituary
Helen M. Tamilio, age 90, passed away peacefully at Palm Center Nursing Home on Monday, September 27, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Tamilio.
She was born in Lowell on March 29, 1931.
In her early years, Helen was employed at Hines Electric and later thoroughly enjoyed her time working at the Yum Yum bakery shop serving customers. She had a passion for entertainment. She loved classic movies and delighted in music throughout her life. She enjoyed making her own Italian pasta sauce. She was a dedicated mother and friend. She adored her two children very much.
Helen is survived by her son, Anthony J. "Tony" Tamilio Jr. and her daughter, Lisa M. Tamilio, both of Lowell, and her dear friends, Arlene and Edward Bolia and Linda Howe of Lawrence.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 5th from 2pm to 5pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 am, at St. Mary's Parish, 25 North Rd., CHELMSFORD. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, CHELMSFORD. For those who desire, memorial donations may be made in Helen's name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation (as Helen was a breast cancer survivor). Funeral Director Paul A.
