Although we have never met; I am a distant Farrell cousin. I came across Johnny's obituary today and I want to extend my condolences to everyone in your family about the passing of your husband, father, grandpa and brother. Losing a family to Alzheimer's is indeed one of the toughest to go through. This disease affects not just the individual afflicted with it, but the family and caregivers as a whole; I speak from current experience.

"As you grieve your loss, remember not only that he died, but that he lived."

The picture you have posted is indicative of his love of life.
That Farrell Smile !

Both my sister and I thought Johnny looks exactly like my dad's brother John Angus Farrell.

Your family is in my prayers and thoughts.
