I have nothing but wonderful memories of Mr. O'Brien and was so sorry to hear of his passing. I thought of him more as a friend than a teacher, which can't be said very much today of the teacher-student relationships. Although it has been years since we last spoke, he will be missed. My prayers and sympathy to his family.

Mr. O'Brien was one of the best English teachers in the Burlington school system. I can still invision his mannerisms while explaining certain aspects of a sentence and I find myself nervous writing this condolence, like he is watching.
