I was so sad to hear the news that Mrs. Trull had passed away and didn't know of this until after her services. She was a wonderful neighbor and teacher, though I was never lucky enough to have her in the classroom, I feel as though I've learned a lot from her living a house away. I remember she was such a caring person and always wanted to help. Not to mention, constantly feeding our dog her leftovers. Penny loved her too! When we had a fire in our home, she was quick to rush out her front door and broke her arm to help us. She was a sharp lady. I saw her a couple of years ago at Preferred Distributors and I didn't even have to tell her who I was. She knew exactly who I was and was so happy to see me and gave me a big hug. I'm glad that I at least saw her then, but I wish I was able to say goodbye. I will miss you, Mrs. Trull. You were such a great lady!

This message is for my friend Tom (Hi Mr. Saunders!!) as well as Mrs. Trull's family. I am very sorry for your loss and only just heard about Julie's passing this week.
I worked at the 99 in Tewksbury and had the pleasure of waiting on Mrs. Trull and Mr. Saunders on many occasions. I also had the pleasure of meeting their extended family on a few occasions and Mr. Saunders and I became friends.
I, along with my six siblings, went to the Heathbrook and many of us had Mrs. Trull as our teacher and we loved her. She will truly be missed in the town of Tewksbury by all who knew her. May your memories bring you comfort and laughter at this time.
I am no longer at the Tewksbury 99 but would love to visit or send a card to Mr. Saunders. My email address is below.
Warm Regards,

I bumped into my fourth grade teacher at a supermarket 20 years later and she knew just who I was, and remembered other students who were in my class with her at the time. Being in third grade, everyone hoped that they would get to be in Mrs. Trull's class, and I was one of the lucky ones to learn from this special person. I'm sure I speak for all of her students that we were lucky to have had such a wonderful person and teacher that helped to mold us to be the best we could be. She will be missed. Heaven just got a little bigger and better.

Dear Julie & David - I too had Mrs. Trull as my 5th grade teacher at the Heathbrook School, along with 7 of my other siblings. Every time I see the Hallmark commercials, I think fondly of Mrs. Trull. I saw her through the years in Tewksbury, but my greatest memory of her was when she walked into my mom's wake 13 years ago and remembered all of us and told us how much she admired the strength my mom had to go on being a widow with 7 young children still at home. She always talked of her two children and how proud she was of you.
My deepest sympathy to all of your family.

I had "Mrs. Trull" for reading in fourth grade at Heath Brook School. She was a good teacher and a very kind lady. One day she bagged me trying to weasel out of something (I forget what) and from there on, she often would call me "Foxy Grampa". :) I know that my brother Steve also had her as his teacher and he too has fond memories of her.

God bless my all time favorite teacher. She was a wonderful soul and a truly gifted educator. I regret my children were not able to be her students, and enjoy the wisdom and understanding which were her hallmarks as a teacher. She was fair and honest, smart and funny. The world has lost a great person.

Dear Julie and David,
Mrs. Trull was my teacher in elementary school at Health Brook. Although I don't remember which grade exactly, I warmly remember her. I lived on Grasshopper Lane and have wonderful memories of walking or riding my bike around the circle and past her house. She always took the time to greet me with a cheery hello in the neighborhood and offer a warm hug at school. I must have been in my mid 20's when I saw Mrs. Trull at the post office. I stopped to tell her I was a former student and let her know that she remained in my thoughts at times. Although I'm sure she did not remember me, she told me she did and asked about my life and family. Today, I too am a teacher. I can only hope one student remembers me with the same fondness I remember Mrs. Trull. She will always remain with me.

Dear Judy, David, Tom and Families,
We have lost one of the strongest most compassionate and caring human beings that has walked this earth. Always a pleasant smile or wave as she came and went in and out of Grasshopper Lane. When Mrs. Trull would stop to chat she proudly beamed talking about the current happenings with Hope, Kate, and David's girls. She was a proud "Garny" grandmother. If it was Tuesday she couldn't chat too long; Tom would be coming for dinner. I will miss my little notes or telephone calls asking how are the Martin's doing and what's new on the Lane. My dear "Grande Dame" may you rest in peace you will always be remembered in out thoughts and prayers. The Martin Family, 31 Grasshopper Lane

Dear Judy and David,
The world has lost one of the best people that I will ever know. Lishy Tish is what we called her. She was a wonderful loving caring person. Mrs Trull was a wonderful teacher and friend. Growing up when I needed a shoulder to lean on she was always there for me. She always gave the neighborhood treats, when my children were at my parents she did the same to them. There was only one Lishy Tish we all loved her so. She is truly one of Gods great angles and we will miss her.

While I never personally met, "Aunt Julie", I feel as if I've known her a long time. I was a college roommate of her niece, Nancy Saunders Patterson at Regis College and knew Nancy before in Lowell for many years. I also graduated from Notre Dame Academy where Julie was a living legend. My sincere condolences to all the family.

Wow, what words can I write ?? After my mom, Auntie Judy was the strongest, most compassionate, fun loving, caring person that I knew. She always made you laugh, never said a harsh word, found the good in everyone. I pray that I can be at least half the woman she was. I will truly miss her.
