She was born in Lowell on July 10, 1916, daughter of the late George and Severine (Guillemette) Frechette. She attended St. Joseph School in Lowell.
For many years, Mrs. McKean was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Lowell.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Marie McKean of Lowell; a son, David D. McKean and his wife Brenda (McKenzie) McKean of Nashua; three granddaughters, Caitlin McKean, Kristin McKean, and Donagh McKean; two sisters, Laura Riendeau and Rita Donahue, both of Lowell; three brothers, Joseph Frechette of Lowell, Sam Frechette, Raymond Frechette and his wife Doris, all of Dracut. She also leave a brother-in-law, James McArdle of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Anita McArdle, Leo Frechette, Cecile McLeod, Jeannette Reid, Bertha Frappier, and Armand Frechette.
