Leon David Murray
of Lowell; 76

LOWELL -- Leon David Murray, 76, died Monday, April 2, 2012 in Life Care Center of Auburn after an illness.

Leon, affectionately known as Dave, leaves two daughters, Davette Murray of Maryland and Michelle Murray-Roberts, husband James of Virginia; two sons, Edwin "John" Murray, wife Vickie of Maryland and Michael Murray, wife Deanna of Millbury; eight grandchildren, Alicen, Mathew, Alexis, Kevin, Brian, Giselle, Noelani and Khalel; an aunt, Helen Chambers of New Jersey. He is predeceased by his parents, Leon D. and Esther (Chambers) Murray and a daughter, Jennifer Murray and his uncle John Chambers.

Dave was a retired Army Major, serving in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne.

MURRAY -- Dave will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C. at the convenience of the family. There will be no funeral service or calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice in the name of Leon "David" Murray.
