Michael Rumley Obituary
He was born in Medford, December 7, 1943, the son of the late Robert P. and Beatrice (Bradley) Rumley and was raised in Medford before moving to Billerica 49 years ago. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
Michael was employed as a Finance Executive for Analogic in Lynnfield until his retirement in 2016.
Besides his wife, Michael is survived by his children, Kristin Mattia and her husband Gerard of Armonk, NY, Jennifer Salisbury of Billerica, Scott Rumley and his wife Stacy, Todd Rumley and his wife Michele and Robert Rumley all of Billerica; his brothers, Stephen Rumley of Gilford, NH, Mark Rumley of Medford and Jon Rumley of Belmont; his sisters, Janice O'Hearn of Medford and Andrea Nenopoulos of Arlington and is also survived by his eight beloved grandchildren, Tym, Maddie, Tad, Michael, Annabel, Kaitlin, Jake and Morgan. He was the brother of the late Robert Rumley Jr.
A Visitation will be held Monday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, www.jimmyfund.org Funeral Director Dean M. Please accept my most sincere sympathy at your loss. I have fond memories of Michael from our days at MHS, Class of 1961. It was always a pleasure to see him at class reunions to reminisce about old times, He was a great guy..so proud of his family.
