Paul G. 'Typaul' Germain
of Dracut, avid hunter and fisherman; 66

DRACUT -- Paul G. "Typaul" Germain, 66, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Lowell on April 10, 1945 to the late Leopold Germain and Cecile (Fontaine) Germain.

He was the husband of Nancy C. (Noval) Germain, with whom he just celebrated 43 years of marriage on August 3, 2011.

For many years, Paul worked as a Drywall Finisher for various local companies.

Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman, and just loved the outdoors. He was a member of the NRA, the Pelham Gun Club, and the Forge Pond Bass masters Club. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, and especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Along with his wife, Nancy, Paul is survived by his two children, Tracey Walton and her husband, Shannon, Timothy Germain and his wife, Christine; four grandchildren Kadyn, Kylie, Zackary and Maeve, all of Dracut. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Germain and his wife, Germaine of Hudson NH; and sister, Pearl Proulx and her husband, Dennis of Dracut; dear friends, Pauline Dufresne,Dan and Lou Lavigne and Edna Gauthier; as well as several nieces and a nephew.

He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Germain.

Paul's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Lowell General Hospital for the care and support they showed Paul and his family.

GERMAIN -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 4 -- 8 PM on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, MA 01826. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 9 AM at St. Francis Church in Dracut, followed by cremation. In Lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation in Paul's name to the Jimmy Fund c/o Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston MA 02284-9168.
