Randy Fast Obituary

DRACUT - Randy Fast, 45, a 15-year Dracut resident, died Monday, Aug. 18, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, N.H. after suffering a head injury Sunday on a water slide in Hampton, N.H. He was the husband of Erin (Walsh) Fast.

He was born in Lynn, son of the late Abbott and Ruth (Fine) Fast, and graduated from Marblehead High School in 1976. He lived in Marblehead before moving to Dracut.

Mr. Fast was an independent computer-aided designer.

He enjoyed skiing, fishing, and music.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Rachael Fast of Dracut; and a sister, Cheri Discolo of Revere.

To my freind Randy,

I hope you are resting now. You were a good friend. Going up at the Golds, I have some very special and fond memmories. We lost touch, then got re-aquntated years later at Varian. You really shook them up.You had pleanty of Chutzspa!

My deepest sympathy to Erin, Rachel and family for their loss. Felicia and Rachel are good friends at school and played together occasionaly outside of school. I am happy that we had the chance to meet Randy. He was very pleasant to be around. I do know that he was happy to have a wonderful family. I am sure he will be deeply missed. You will both be in our thoughts and prayers and hope you find peace in your hearts.

I've only had the privlege of knowing Randy for the short time I worked with him. From my conversations with him he was very devoted to his family. You both were his life. Everyone at iCAD will miss him.
