He was born in Lowell, Mass., April 17, 1960, son of the late Justin A. Cushing of Lowell. He was raised and educated in Lowell and New Jersey. He graduated from Bergen Technical School in Bergen, N.J.
Prior to his illness, Mr. Cushing was employed as an HVAC technician.
He is survived by three sisters and a brother-in-law, Maureen (Cushing) Cormier of North Andover, Mass., Christine Cushing of Lowell, and Colleen (Cushing) and Rick Morris of Brick; a daughter, Kimberly of New Jersey; three nephews, Christopher Cormier of Des Moines, Iowa, Nicholas and Justin DiMichele of Broomfield, Colo.; as well as many dear cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Justine Cushing of Lowell, and Kathleen (Cushing) DiMichele-Giovi of Howard Beach, N.Y., his nephew, Joseph DiMichele of Phoenix, and his beloved aunt, Mary B. Cushing of Lowell.
