Robert "Bob" L. Chenard
of Lawrence; 69

LAWRENCE -- Robert "Bob" L. Chenard, 69, of Lawrence passed away peacefully Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Home surrounded by his loving family. He was the cherished son of the late Leon J., and Rita (Garon) Chenard.

Bob graduated from Lawrence High school, class of 1962 and entered the Navy until September 1968 proudly serving our country.

He married Anita (Gaillardetz) in 1968 and they moved to Lawrence where they raised their five children. Employed by Raytheon since 1966 Bob worked as a service tech. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping, cooking and building remote control airplanes.

Bob is survived by his Loving wife Anita (Gaillardetz) Chenard, and their children Karen Vandyne and her husband William of Derry, N.H., Carol Dwyer and her husband James of Pembroke, N.H., Lori Hatt and her husband Richard of Pailstow, N.H., Adam and Cynthia Chenard of Lawrence. Dear brother of Richard Chenard and his wife Irene of Dracut. Cherished Grandfather of Madison, Jennah, Emily and Ashley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

CHENARD -- Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 11 A.M. at St. Patrick's Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover.
