James Chenard, age 55, passed away Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for his family.
James is survived by the love of his life, Jodi Mitchell; his daughter Amanda Craft and son-in-law Dane Craft; his stepson Travis Brinklow and daughter-in-law Sarah Melo; his brothers Steve Chenard and Joe Chyko; his sisters Tammy McConnell and Kristen Kunjappan; and his mother, Suzanne Chenard. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Hunter Craft, Amelia Craft, and Steele Brinklow, whose lives were brightened by his presence and playful spirit.
James will be remembered for his generous heart, sharp sense of humor, and the deep love he held for his family. Whether it was a helping hand or a comforting word, James gave freely and without hesitation. He brought people together and made every gathering feel like home.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family to celebrate James's life and legacy.
