To Lisa Corey and family: Saddened by your loss. Didn't expect he would go so quickly. You were a wonderful, loving, and caring daughter and he knew that. My thoughts are with you at this time.

To You Cheryl,
I had remember your Father at Vesper Country Club where I had worked there for over ten years.
We had some Awesome Times, and we always had some Great Laughs. Your Father was a Perfect Gentleman, and a Great Guy to know. We would talk for at least an half hour a day. And he would always tell me how he would hit that Little White Ball around!!!!!!!!
He was a Great Man, and I am sure he was a Great Father also.
You and I also used to hang around the Old Worthen when I was Bartending there some years ago. I will pray for you, and I hope that you will be O.K., as you were a Great Person to know, and we also share some great laughs also!!!!!!!!!

Will miss you

Feel No Guilt in Laughter
Feel no guilt in laughter, he'd know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that he is not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever; he would not want you to.
He'd hope that you could carry on the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you, a word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour or a day,
That brings him back as clearly as though he were still here,
And fills you with the feeling that he is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
And he will live forever locked safely within your heart.

I remember all of my Corey uncles as being very different from each other. Bob was self-assured and completely confident in himself to say the least. With such a big family, I expect the brothers to be competitive, but they were there for each other. But what also stands out to me is how much he LOVED all his sisters. And for good reason, the Corey ladies will always be very special. Never seen a family more devoted to one another.
I always felt an extra connection as Lisa and Cheryl are each exactly one month younger than my brother Patrick and I. That's just an oddity or coincidence of life, but pretty cool nonetheless. Bob was Mark's godfather, but that was before my time. No one probably knows, but my Mom gave all 6 of us our godparent's name as our middle name. Bob's name discreetly lives on.
I am profoundly saddened to learn of the continuing passing of this Corey legacy. It continues in the next generations of what must be 100s of cousins by now. But it will always be part of my heritage and a continuous source of pride.
Aunt Joyce, Cheryl and Lisa, I am sorry for your loss. I will never forget Uncle Bob's voice and demeanor. The last time I saw him was when he and Joyce met up with Tim & I in Ft. Lauderdale several years ago. Always the elder gentleman. Kind, generous to a fault, and with friendship for anyone. He will live on not only through Cheryl and Lisa, but all of his nieces and nephews who loved our Uncle Bob.
