Robert Horgan Obituary
He was born December 11, 1936 in Lowell, MA.
He graduated from Lowell Trade High School in 1954.
Robert was employed by the Courier Citizen in Lowell for 25 years, Danner Press Canton, OH as VP-Mfg and The Press of Ohio as Chief Operating Officer, Hughes Printing Co. Stroudsburg, PA as VP-Mfg.
He retired in 1990 and moved to Clearwater, FL and spent the summers in Wooster, OH where he enjoyed living around the Amish communities in Wayne and Holmes Counties with his wife of 57 years. He loved tennis, NASCAR, and photography.
Robert is survived by his wife, Cecile "Cil" D. (Hamel) Horgan; son, Robert "Rob" J. Horgan; sister, Maureen Gass.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, William Horgan.
His final resting place will be St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford, MA.

My heart was saddened when I heard about Bob's passing. It was such a pleasure to have worked for him in the 1980's at Danner Press Corp.
He was dedicated to his job, hard worker, kind and a true gentleman. No secretary could have asked for anything more.

I was fortunate enough to have Bob as my boss and mentor. That relationship blossomed into a long friendship. He was a true gentleman and a man of integrity.
