Steven Adams Obituary
Steven James Adams, Jr., age 36, a resident of Hudson, NH, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 1, 2022 after a courageous battle with brain cancer (GBM). He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was the beloved husband of Gillian (Raffaelo) Adams.
He was born in Melrose on June 10, 1986 and was the son of Steven and Susan (Fougere) Adams of Dracut.
Steve grew up in Dracut and graduated from Greater Lowell Technical High School with the class of 2005. He continued his education at Middlesex Community College, where he obtained his Associate Degree in Computer Science AutoCAD Technology. Steve worked in the marketing department of Admiral Metals for many years. Steve was known to be the life of every party and was famous for cracking horrible jokes. He was an avid Bruins fan, enjoyed watching football, playing soccer, and taking trips to the casino.
In addition to his loving wife and parents, Steve is survived by his children, Rachel and Chase; his twin sister, Amanda McGee and her husband Alan; his brother, William "Bill" Adams and his wife Rachel; his sister, Shannon Adams; and his wife's loving family. Steve also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, a nephew, and friends that felt like family.
Steve was larger than life, and his shoes cannot be filled.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 5th from 4pm to 8pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 12 noon at Pine Ridge Cemetery, 130 Billerica Rd. CHELMSFORD. Kindly meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, an account at Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union has been set up for the kids' college fund. Checks can be made payable to Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union and sent to 1595 Bridge St, Dracut, MA 01826 – in memo note Gillian Adams - Account Ending# 8453. Funeral Directors Paul A.
