Born in Lowell on Jan. 12, 1939, he was a son of the late Edwin and Cecilia (Mann) Busby. Mr. Busby was a graduate of St. Peter's Grammar School and Lowell High School.
Mr. Busby was an offset printer at Raytheon Corp. of Bedford. He retired after more than 40 years of service.
He was a communicant of St. Michael Church and was a very active member in St. Michael's Bingo, 1000 Club, Holy Name Society and the Parish C.Y.O.
He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Cynthia and Kevin Hanley of Lowell and Bettyann and Jeffrey Canney of Dracut; three grandchildren, Caitlin Hanley, Thomas Hanley and James Canney; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Frances Busby of Tyngsboro, and Catherine Busby, Wilfred and Georgette Dupuis, Harold and Cecile Dupuis, Jeannette D'Hondt and Emily Dupuis, all of Lowell; several nieces and nephews; and his dear friends, Harvey and Loyce Gagnon and Charles and Blanche Mahaleris, all of Dracut.
He was also the brother of the late Frances Wallace, and Joseph, James, Edwin and Robert Busby.
