Thomas Gordon Obituary
He was born in Boston, February 22, 1948, a son of the late William and Catherine (Gill) Gordon and lived in Arlington before moving to Billerica in 1978. Tom proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was employed in the Shipping and Receiving Department of Progress Software prior to his retirement. Tom was an active member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks and a former member of the Bedford American Legion and the Billerica V.F.W.
He is survived by his daughters, Christine Runyan and husband Keith of Standish, ME and Karen Gordon of Bedford; his sons, Thomas Gordon of Millis and James Gordon and wife Kristen of Auburn, NH and their mother, Elia Gordon of Billerica; his brothers, Joseph Gordon of NC, William Gordon of Taunton and Dennis Gordon of Norton; and is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, PJ, Steven, Nickolas, Tyler, Ryan, Mack, Derek, Sydney, Alivia, Cale, Brayden, and Coen and seven great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jim Gordon, Cathy Stamaris, and Patricia Joseph.
Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Shriners Hospital for Children - Boston, www.shrinerschildrens.org Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. To the Gordon family,
I am sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I worked with Tom at Progress many years ago. He shared many stories with me and always had a smile and laugh you just don't forget. He loved you all very much and I am sure he will be missed. RIP Tom.
