Todd LaCourse Obituary
Died Dec. 14th, Todd E. LaCourse, 36, of Dracut. Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Thursday from 4 until 8 P.M. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 9 A.M, followed by his Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 A.M at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Dracut. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dracut Senior High School where a scholarship fund will be set up in his name. Please forward any donations to 92 Faith Avenue, Dracut, MA 01826, Attn: Holly Logan. For online condolences and directions visit dracutfuneralhome.com.

Todd, I just found out about your passing from your uncle at Dracut High School. I wish I had known so that I could have paid my respects to your family. Every time I think of the Noreasters I think of you. You were the first member of the team I met after Fitzy asked me to coach with him. The joy you brought to the field was contagious and I can't believe that you are gone. I've met a lot of great players in my day, but I have never met a nicer person than you or a person who I enjoyed being around more. I am glad I got to know you. You and your family will always be in my prayers.

I worked with Todd briefly and i just heard of his passing. My condolences to his family and close friends. Todd was a very disciplined and dedicated person and athlete. Every night I hit my knee's to speak to the only judge I understand. Todd's family has been in my prayers since Dec, 14. They will continue to remain there. A Dracut high graduate & friend of Todd's for many yrs. There are no words I can speak to diminsh the family's pain. However, we MUST believe Todd is surrounded by peace, comfort, & constant warmth. I spent both my high school and college years with Todd and feel lucky to have shared those instrumental years with him. I'm so sorry he's gone.

I was very saddened to hear of Todd's passing. I had the pleasure of getting to know Todd as we were teammates for three years at Stonehill and house-mates during Todd's senior year. I have nothing but fond memories of Todd both on and off the gridiron. Although we hadn't been in touch in some years, I have no doubt that seeing him again would have been just like old times. He will be missed.

I have been trying to think of the "right" thing to say here, and all I keep coming up with is...I Love You Todd...the one thing that I've noticed is how everyone says the same thing, Todd made you feel welcome and wanted. I can't believe I'll never see that smile again or the twinkle in your eyes that comes along with it, or hear you call me Lynnie, even though I don't like it, you could get away with it...but I will hold you and the memories you've given me close to my heart, forever... I had the pleasure of playing with Todd for one year at Stonehill.
Todd was a senior and I was a freshman. Todd made those first few weeks away from home much easier to bear as he immediately made me feel at home.
As the years past, I'd run into Todd in the alumni cirlces, and due to his involvement with the Nor'easter.
He was always quick with a smile and a joke to bring us back to old times.
I'll miss you, Todd. My prayers go out to your loved ones.

To Todd's Family:
Todd has been a friend of our son, Tony Monteiro, for many years. We helped run the spaghetti suppers before the DHS football games. He always had a big hello for us and a smile to match. Part of the "gang", is gone and will always be missed. His friends will keep him in their hearts.

I had the pleasure of playing football with Todd at Stonehill. He was a hard nosed player who worked hard. Being in the defensive backfield with him you always knew you had someone with you who would give his best. He was a great person, player, and teammate. I pray for all who knew him.

I played football with Todd at Stonehill.
He was a great athlete who played with determination and inspiration and shared that with others. He was always great for an inspirational quote or big play.
As aggressive as he played on the field, I remember him as sincere and true off of it.

I dont have any words that I can say other than Im sorry. Todd as well as you guys have never left my heart, never, and I only found out a few hours ago. I'd say I have a prayer, but I don't have any faith anymore because Todd, to me, was faith. He was the one helping me now through my tough times with his awesome sense of humor and great intellect. All my condolences to the families. He was a monster on the field, and a teddy bear off. I met Todd and befriended him way back in the 80's while playing for the A team in Dracut's Pop Warner league. We both "grew up" in the Dracut school system, and I so admired his many talents. His best was making people feel welcomed around him. No one loved to have fun more than Todd. He will be greatly missed. He was truly "the Class of 1991."
