Charles Meece Obituary
Charles O. Meece, 92, of Michigan City, Indiana, formerly of Salina, passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022. He was born Dec. 22, 1929, in Gillespie, Illinois.
He served in the military for 12 years, doing two tours in Korea.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Martha J. (Hildreth) Meece; and his two beloved wives, Yvonne J. Meece and Mary E. Meece; one sister; and six brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Mae Meece; his son, Timothy Meece and his wife Debbie; one brother; six sisters; one grandson; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at Roselawn Memorial Park, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina.
Memorials may be made to VFW Post 1432, in care of Roselawn Mortuary, PO Box 2322, Salina, 67402.
